I went food shopping this morning for the week. Once home I started to clear out the laundry room. While watching the Seahawks game I organized all the items. I watched TV and went swimming for the rest of the day.

Went to the mall with the kids for fun. Got candy and fresh pretzels. We walked around the mall and talked. Afterwards we got haircuts then went swimming when we got home. We watched Elemental and had a fire before bed.
I had a nice relaxing day. Tomorrow will be busy for me. There are a lot of things I need to do outside the house to get ready for Autumn.

Crazy day at work. I had to manage two teams and had three techs sick. Managing and tracking everything took a lot out of me. I went for a morning swim doing my break. It helped quite a bit.
After work I dove back into the refreshing pool to start the weekend right. It’s an absolutely beautiful day to be out.
Tonight, I am planning to stay up next to the fire to read Tales of the South Pacific and write my thoughts in my paper journal.

Work went well enough. Had an issue with a tech, he just kept messing up and made multiple situations worse. He is a nice guy but has been making a lot of mistakes for the past 2.5 years. Once work was over, I enjoyed this beautiful day outside.

I got my Flu shot and was not feeling well at the end of the day. This is typical, I should feel better tomorrow. I would rather feel crummy for a day than being sick for a week. If I do catch the flu after the shot, it only lasts a day for me. So well worth it.

Work hosted a vaccination clinic in the office. I got my Covid and Flu shoot at the same time. It was very convenient. Started automating my job. I’m still learning to use Microsoft Power Automate. Hopefully, I can get it to pull my reports.

I had a good day at work. My reorganization of time on Thursday made my Monday much easier. I need to start automating my job. I have 5 reports I have to pull three times a day. Automating it will save me quite a bit of time.

Enjoyed a morning swim to start the day off right. I went with my son to 8-bit arcade for a birthday party. We go to this place a few times a year. Typically, after a haircut at the barber across the street. Spent the rest of the day swimming and playing games.

I went out with the kids to do my weekly shopping routine. We had fun walking around and talking about things. Afterwards we went to the Ukrainian Festival to eat and check their wares. On the way back we went to REI to pick up shoes.

Changed the way I work at home. I got more things done with less distractions. I enjoyed a morning swim before I dropped the kids off at school. The cool 66°F water gave me the energy I needed to continue the day. I just need to add weightlifting to the daily routine and I will be happy.
