I didn’t feel well this morning and took the day off of work. Got the kids to wash the dishes and clean the living room. Dropped off my videos and voters’ ballot at the library. Picked up slushies on the way back home. Once we arrived home, we went swimming. I made homemade spaghetti for dinner. After dinner we went swimming again. It was a nice day to take it easy and get some things done.

Work was hectic, but the day was nice. The morning air was full of smoke. It smelled like a bonfire. It did clear up by the afternoon. I spent the rest of the day in the pool or reading a book on a patio chair.

I went to the library after work to pick up the complete set of The IT Crowd and Indiana Jones first 4 movies. I want to watch Indiana Jones and the Raider of the Lost Ark in black and white. My first attempt was very pixilated and not great to watch.

A lot of people called in sick today. I am not feeling well myself. I’m not sure if the poor air quality is getting to me. I drank 3 lt of water and stayed in the office. I felt much better by the afternoon. Hopefully, the rain will clean the air.

I drove down to Federal Way with the family to pick up an early birthday present from them. They bought me two cots for camping. They are pretty nice and will be great for our next trip. They should fit in my teepee nicely.

Got out of the house. Me and my son went morning grocery shopping then went to get haircuts. We walked next door to get some Shepards pies. Afterwards we went to the arcade. On the way back we picked up Macarons. Fun day out.

I went into the office today for meetings and contacting some clients. The office was pretty quiet. Only a few people. Headed home and spent the rest of day in the pool to get out of the heat.

Another exciting day at work. For the rest of the day, I did nothing. Just grabbed a beer and hung out in the pool when I got home.

Slow start in the morning. I really didn’t want to go to work today. It rained in the morning but cleared up in the afternoon. Work went well. I watched TV and went to bed.

Beautiful morning in the woods. We packed up and headed home around 1:30 pm. Last night you could see all the stars in the sky. I love being out here. Since we were covered in fine dust from the trail we jumped into the pool at home.
