Threw my back out last night. Spent most of the day laying in the bed or on the couch.  Enjoyed a warm bath to help my back heal. Using the day to recover. Relaxed and enjoyed reading

Installed my new rear tire on the bike. Have a centimeter on each side of the fork once again. Bike is ready to hit the trails. Will give it a test ride tomorrow if the roads aren’t too slick. Won’t mine a ride to Lake Washington and back.

Had a good day. Watched Toon in with Me in the morning with my son. We laughed pretty much through the whole thing. We ordered more books to read together before bed. Planning to watch a move with him tonight.

I had a fantastic day. Work went very well and the kids had the day off from school. I have been watching morning cartoons and reading together with my son. We have voices for each character in the book.

Had a good day at work. Much so that I had time to make chicken soup and unclog the kitchen faucet from iron deposits that was blocking the water flow before the kids was released from school.

Work / Life balance has been achieved. Getting my work done and spending time with the kid while getting my household duties done. Feels good. Getting up at 4 am is the key for me.

Received the last of the Christmas gifs for the family. Yes I buy all the gifts in November so I don’t have to worry about shipping or out of stock items. I started this practice a few years ago. I don’t have anxiety like I do during the holidays.
