Windy day. Stayed in an did some household repairs on top of my normal household duties. Kids are getting excited for Christmas and having two weeks off from school. Working on repairing a laptop for a friend.

Cut down the pear tree in the back yard in preparation for spring time planting. Planning to plant a Loquat and Apple tree. Will remove the stump during better weather.  Got the kids out to help with the cleaning.

Cleaned up the mess from last night’s indoor camping. Spent the rest of the day watching TV and Seahawks beat the Jets. Wrapped some presents that was delivered today. Went to bed at a decent hour.

Did some Saturday morning house cleaning. Spent some time outside enjoying the sun. A bit cold but such a nice sunny day. Watched the MLS Final with Seattle losing to Columbus by 3. Ended the night off with a glass of whisky.

Went to the post office to mail some things off this morning. It was quick transaction. Went over to my neighbors house to help her find something she lost. And started to work on my friends laptop that stopped working.

Helped the kids with some school work and ran arround the house with them. Trying to keep them busy. Chopped up some more wood for the fire pit.

Stayed up late for a chance to see the Aurora Borealis. Made a Swedish torch to keep me warm. Cloud coverage was sparse and was able to see most of the sky. Saw stars and planets, but sadly no Aurora.

Had the children hang 96 candy canes on the tree. I found them on clearance the other day when I was shopping. Ordered some Chicken Salt from Australia. Haven’t have some since I lived there. Making fresh chips once it arrives.

Today was shopping day for me. Drove arround buying food and gm for the next month. Still will need to buy a ham before Christmas. Spent the few hour of day light chopping wood and making a Swedish fire log.

Had a nice morning. Slept in and relaxed for most of the day.  Watched the Seahawks game and planned the week. Still looking for a new a few lines journal for the next five years. Any recommendations?
