It was foggy all day. Watched NHK throughout the day. Found some recipes to try out on Dinning with the Chef. Played card and board games with the kids. Went to bed early to do some research on inking on the tablet.

Didn’t leave the  house today. Just stayed inside and cleaned up a little and watched the rain from the main window with a book. At night I watched Plan 9 from Outer Space with my son. We had a good laugh.

Tired from yesterday. Stayed mostly inside until late afternoon. Chopped some wood for tonight’s fire. Ran arround with my kids playing tag and hide and seek. Once the kids went to bed I poured a glass of brandy and spent the rest of the night next to the fire.

Happy Thanksgiving! Spent the morning and noon cooking and baking a whole bunch of food for four people. The turkey came out perfect. So much so that no one ate the spiral ham. Pumpkin pie was amazing with homemade ice cream.

Brining the turkey. Made sure I weigh all ingredients, especially the salt and sugar.  Not going to get the ratio off and have a shameful turkey this year. Not going rouge, sticking with the plan.

Picked up the last of the groceries for Thanksgiving. The grocery stores still have plenty of food. Applied for a few jobs and did some reorganizing on my computer. Made hot coco for the kids before bed time.

Slept well last night. The new bed is nice. Started the day refreshed and helped the kids with school. Flushing out all my old paper work from my filing cabinet. Working on my evening routine. Focusing more time for me.

Picked up a new bed this afternoon. It’s allot thinner than before, but it is allot more conformable. The old one was 12 years old and became too soft. Spent the rest of the day watching movies with the kids.

Got back on track. Today I focused on my goals with my daily duties. Been doing the grind day after day but did very little for the things I want to do. Going to be selfish for an hour or two a day to do the stuff that makes me happy.

Did my daily duties. Still looking for a job. Had a video conference with one of my kid’s teacher. It went well. Once the kids went to bed, I did the same. Going to get allot of rest so I can work on what matters on top of my daily duties.
