Almost have my kit together for my Friday trip. Change of plans. Going to hike up in the north cascades near Mt Hood. Will need to leave by 3 am the latest. Should be a fun hike. Planning to stay there till sunset.

Found a spot for Friday’s hike. Wrote up a pack list so I can keep the load light.  Need to print out a map and mark waypoints on the GPS. Might treat myself by bringing hotdogs to cook for lunch. Departure from home will be 4am Friday.

Started my Autumn cleaning. Cleaned out all my unwanted clothing. My first round produced two kitchen bags worth.  Tomorrow I will do another  pass and clear out all my electronics and cables.

Cleared off my desk and started to do research on locations to hike. A few trails are opening. My plan is to go solo hiking on Fridays in remote areas in Washington State to minimize exposure to people. I have an inReach communicator. Might turn on the beacon and let people track me on a website or twitter.
