Dismantled my couch and chair and dropped it off at the dump. Found out later my new couch will not arrive today but hopefully Thursday. Using throw pillows and the kids bean bag chairs in the interim.

Modified my saddle bag to hold two batteries. Installed a grommet as a pass through for the power cord.  I used old kitchen thin plastic cutting boards and some rivets to make sleeves. I just drop in the batteries and go. Will test tomorrow.

Ride went well. Road for 30 miles on a single charge with energy to spare. Going up hill was a breeze, clocking 35 mph. Bike handled good. After testing the battery modification to the saddle bag I will head out to explore remote areas.

Got my bike ready for tomorrow ride on Iron Horse Trail to test out speed and endurance. The Electrical is still temporary state. Need to come up with a way to store them up right in the saddle bags. Needs to be simple.

Not a great day at work. Didn’t accomplish as much as I wanted. To resolve this, I will start waking up early to start work like I did before at my previous job. It’s less stressful and I can get my work and personal stuff done.

Back to my new routine. Work, drop off kids at school, pick them up, make dinner, and put the garbage out. Redesigned how I’m going to store the batteries on my bike. It will be much cleaner look and able to store my backpack on it.

Went for a test ride on my bike to see how far I could go with the batteries. I road from South Seattle all the way to Lechi in 35 minutes. Much faster than I thought.

Took my bike for a test run. Blew out the tire. My fault, I pumped it up with too much air. Repaired it and installed a mirror. Bike can go to 32mph with ease. Getting use to it.

Cleaned out the house. We have been busy with camping / work and the house got a little cluttered.  Went swimming, pool was 70°F, which is warm for this time of the year. Going through all the pictures from the trips.

Work went well. After grocery shopping I went to a hardware store to pickup some parts for the bike. I need to make a power bank for the electrical system. Should have it done by Tuesday and ready for the trip on Sunday.
