Got up bright and early to clean out the car and washed clothes. Went to the library to pick up a movie called His Girl Friday. Will watch later this week. Started planning for my next trip out with the family.

Packed the car and headed into town with the family to have breakfast at The Blue Moose Café. Delicious food at a good price. Kids where tired and wanted to go home. So we just drove back to Seattle from Port Townsend.

Made it to Fort Worden. Check in was simple and the place is gorgeous. Will share photos tomorrow. Explored the batteries and ran arround the grass with the kids. Got a pizza in the town for dinner.

Lounged all day. Watched the kids play video games and ate leftovers in the fridge. I did manage to pack somethings for tomorrow’s trip to Fort Worden. Should have a nice view of the water.

Today I officially have a job. All my paperwork has been submitted to HR. Super excited on my new position. My new monitor came in today and it’s gorgeous. Stayed up and had a small fire outside.

Installed a solar blanket on the pool. Should keep it warmer than 65°F. Put some equipment together in my office. Looking good so far. Should be done by tomorrow. Going to take a hot bath and read some pages after a good run.

Decluttered my home office and looks good. Will reconfigure the area once I start my job. Not sure what equipment they will be issuing me.  Spent most of the day inside. After dinner I went for a sunset swim to enjoy the little of the day outside.

Planned the day to redo my office and ended up cleaning the kitchen and arround the house. An open container of pre-made coffee fell of the top shelf and spilled all over the top shelf of the fridge. Poured on everything in the fridge.

Cleared the remaining thorny branches from the north side of the property. Now I just need to start digging up the trunks out of the ground. Went swimming with the kids twice today. Must have swam for 2.5 hours.

Got my first COVID-19 vaccine early this morning. It was fast. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Very well organized. Did some errands and proceeded home to enjoy some grilling and playing in the pool. Beautiful day.
