Close in completing house hold projects. Remodel of the bathroom was delayed (waiting for a new toilet). Garage re-org is close to done and crawl space is waiting for the garage to be completed. Using Microsoft Spaces to keep track.

My back is still sore from yesterday. Got out of bed later than normal. Stayed mostly inside and played Monopoly and other board games with the kids. Finished the day playing Mario Brothers.

Had a lazy Sunday. Cooked for most of the day and watched tv with the kids. Played a few games and stayed mostly inside. Pulled my back catching a bottle of vitamin c that got nocked over from the table.

Took a day off on doing anything. Tired and just wanted to relax, read a book, and watch some TV.

Three trips to the thrift store and I finished purging my old stuff. Garage is much more roomier. I still have some seasonal things that need to be stored. Enjoyed a glass of brandy next to the fire. Watch a movie before bedtime.

Major purge of the garage had started. Already filled the car with stuff to be dropped off at the local thrift store first thing in the morning. My plan is to empty the garage and a crawl space attached in my son’s room.

Woke up today without power to the house. Last night’s storm knocked out power for 500,000 people. Pulled out the portable LP heater to heat up the Livingroom and butane stove to make breakfast. Cleared the yard and street from branches and debris. Power came back in the nick of time before the kids start school. Spent the rest of the day helping the kids with school and putting all stuff away from this morning and tools from the bathroom remodel that I no longer need.

Up 7 am to helped the kids get ready for online school. Started clean up work. Still need some of the tools for the new sink installation. Hopefully be  done in two days. I spend a bit of the day helping kids with school work.

Finished the tile work. Walls painted, new base boards installed and water heater installed / operational. New sink will arrive tomorrow, once installed I will reinstall the old toilet. Took a nice hot shower before bed.

Started the morning retiling the upstairs micro bathroom. Our water heater is located in the same room. I noticed a small leak in the water heater. Went to the local big box home improvement store and picked up a water heater.
