Spent most of the day on the phone with Microsoft unsuccessfully to resolve and issue I have been having with one of there software. Spent the rest of the day playing with the kids and washing clothes. Going to bed early to get a fresh start tomorrow.

I had a productive day. I repaired my laser printer, extracted product keys from a very old computer and dismantled it. Finding more stuff to get rid of from the crawl spaces. The children’s room project is almost done. On track to be completed this week.

Spent the morning watching the news. Listening to all the statements from the three branches. Still upset about yesterday. Worked on my daughter’s room in the afternoon. Just reinstalling some curtains that needed repair. Going to spend the rest of the day playing board games with the kids.

Went to the auto parts store to pick up a new car battery. My old one was 8 years old and wouldn’t keep a charge. Afterwards I turned on the TV to watch congress count the electoral votes, but instead I saw domestic terrorists being egged on by the president of the united states and his lawyer to stop congress from counting the votes. So they marched from the Trump rally to the capital and trashed it. Pulled the United States flag and hung a Trump flag and waved the confederate flag. Words have consequences. When you perpetuate a lie over and over again, people will believe it as truth. When you pardon criminals that protected you, they will do what every you say thinking that they will be pardoned for any action they do for your cause. Trump may have loaded the gun but congress pulled the trigger. The president and the eleven senate republicans that incited this  with there lies should be removed from office immediately.

Today was the first day back to school for the kids from Winter Break. I woke them up at 7 am to start their day. It gave them two hours to get ready before school. After breakfast we played games and had some fun before class started. We stayed mostly in the house and watched TV. Stayed up and video conferenced a school mate from Australia.

Received my last Varicella vaccination shot this morning. I some how never caught it as a kid and through all my travels. Worked with the kids on removing their clutter in their rooms and arround the house. I thought it would be difficult for them to get rid of some of their toys and old school projects, but I was wrong. They like how much more room they have in their rooms and easily find things they want to do. We are on our way to have the rooms completed by weeks end.

I’m in a removing the clutter and reorganizing kind of mood. I’m slowly  rearranging the cupboards so the kids can access breakfast staples easily.  Kids start school up again tomorrow and want to remove as much unnecessary stress they have during the school days. Mostly comes from frustration on not finding things or can’t access what they need easily. It shows during school time when they misplace their composition books or writing utensils. This is why I am reorganizing their desks for school work only. Tonight I removed all the organizational equipment and stuff in them off my daughter’s desk.  Anything she needs is in a draw. Her desk is baron, only a keyboard, mouse and monitor. She has room to write, draw and make school projects without fighting to find room to do so.

Going to enjoy a beer and read a book before bed.

Started the kids on their room projects. Both are filling boxes of toys and stuff they no longer use or need. I pulled out shelves and storage organization units since it’s not needed anymore.  Moved one of the shelves into the living room and filled it with games and instruments that was originally stored in their rooms. Tonight they played with the instruments and toys they forgot they had since it was buried underneath with toys they didn’t want to play with anymore. We are going to continue with removing the clutter tomorrow and the following days. We should have it all done by the end of next week. I don’t want them to be overwhelmed. My son’s room is very small, but he has a crawl space that is used for storage. I’m going to gut it and make it into another room that he can play in or make it into what ever he wants. Want to clear it out and usable by next week.
