Smoked rolled in from all the fires from Washington, Oregon, California. By the evening the heavy smoke filled the air. Drove arround to get groceries and picking up parts.

Hot day. The heat got to me and started to feel ill. Drank water and sat next to the AC unit. Went swimming once the sun started to set. Felt back to myself after the swim.

Very windy hot day. Reminded me of the times I worked in Mesa AZ in the summertime for ARCO petroleum. Finish working on my house, now I need to tackle the landscaping.

Worked on the house. Almost done. Really wishing I had more time in the day to do other projects.  Watched a little tv before bed .

A hot windy day. Working on the led strips on the house for the holiday season. Was all done but put a staple through an extension. Waiting for replacement. Smoke fills the air from the fires in Washington.

Journal – Day 249

Bought a cat tree for my daughter’s room. She is incredibly happy to have it. Now the cats can get to her bed on top of the bunk. Made a batch a lime cordial. Time to make a gimlet before bedtime.

Spent the morning figuring out the kids school schedule and coinciding video conference room that they are in.  Made alcohol jelled fuel for the first time. Burned well.

Spent the morning driving arround dropping things off. Picked up a bottle of Plymouth gin navy strength. Can’t wait to give it a try. Spent the rest of the day working on the house and fridge.

Spent a few hours video conferencing today. Excited on my radio project. Will start working on a script tomorrow. Teacher video chat clear up allot of my questions. Teachers are working hard to simplify things for parents and students.
