I dropped off all the stuff I pulled from the garage the other day at Goodwill. I still have half my camping gear to go through. I ran out of time to do it this weekend. The pool has been neatly put away for next year. Yard is looking good. I need to finish next week.

Spent the entire day clearing out the garage of unwanted stuff. Filled up the car and the garbage can. I must go through all the camping gear still. The pool is ready to disassemble for the winner. Tomorrow I will need to finish up. I’m just too tired right now.

Moving my work and personal note taking to a PARA framework. I believe this is a better method than the one I have been using. There are so many things I am handling now; I need a better framework to keep all this information.
I need to do a better job with my meeting notes. I had 2 actionable items that I totally forgot to setup this morning.
Tomorrow is going to be busy for me to do my job and reorganize everything.

Long day. I had 3 presentations and a manager’s meeting. My presentation was on a text expander software we use in the office to save time. It rained for most of the day and cleaned up the city. It looks shiny and clean.
My new workflow is coming together. It is simpler and the information I need to see is always visible. At work I use two monitors, and two Surface 2 in 1s (pro and go) as additional monitors. I use my Kendle Scribe to read all my company newsletter to make sure I am up to date with products and known issues and new knowledge base articles. I find it easier to read them on my epaper than from an LCD screen. Plus, I can get away from my desk and read it anywhere. I should write a post on how I set this whole thing up once I have everything smoothed out.

I was very tired once I got home so I took a nap. I played games with the kids and read before bed. Spent time just looking out the window watching the rain fall. There is something peaceful about it. It’s something I enjoy doing when camping in the woods in the autumn days.

I took the family to the Washington State Fair. We ate the most unhealthy food imaginable. It was fun but we walked a lot around the fairgrounds. It rained in the afternoon and cleared quite a few people. We left for home around 3:30 pm and took a nap.

I started restructuring OneNote to make more sense and having the information I need easily accessible. I have included my Surface Go into the workflow, and it is working well with my new responsibilities. This will help me monitor everything and move around the house and office. This will be incredibly useful in meetings and brainstorming sessions for projects.
