A long day at work and I am glad it is Friday. I went swimming when I got off work. Spent the rest of the day cooking and relaxing outside. Read before bedtime and did some research on creating a Kindle eBook from a pdf.

Clearing my unwanted items and learning how to use the Kindle Scribe in my workflow. I am now able to look at my Notebooks I created on my computer via web. I should author an article on how to use it and put free content from the library on the device. There are a lot of little tricks that are not documented like viewing your notebooks in a web browser. I wish you could use a Bluetooth keyboard or able to use Microsoft OneNote on it. But over all I really like it. I can read books without my glasses. Loading magazines I downloaded from the public library is nice. It’s not in colour but still enjoyable to read. My next test is audio and if I can listen to mp3 music files on it.

Another long day at work. It’s getting better. The Kindle Scribe cover is really nice. It adds considerable weight so I will remove it for reading. But it will work for writing. I have a weekly planner pdf loaded and will give it a try.

A few people at work are on vacation. We are a bit behind but should be able to keep the fort together until they get back next week. I purchased a cover for the Kindle Scribe so I can carry it in my bag when transporting to work and back. I didn’t have time to see if I could incorporate it into my daily office routine. Hopefully I will have time tomorrow.

Spent the day cleaning the house and finishing the bathroom. All the fixtures have been installed and wiring is done. Had a long day but was well worth it. I will be clearing everything I have to get rid of excess. I have too much stuff.

I had a nice Father’s Day. Played with the kids, watched TV and a movie. The family gave me a Kindle Scribe as a present. I am able to read without my glasses and even take notes. The background warm light is really nice.

Went early morning shopping with my son. Afterwards we walked around the mall before the stores opened and talked about games and things with him. Went home and brought my daughter back to the mall and went shopping.

Another slow day at work. Next week I must pick up the pace and get more done since two people are going on holiday for a week. I repaired my bike, and it is ready for Wednesday’s ride to work. I do enjoy riding around the lake.

Slow day at work, spent most of the day doing laundry and going over other people’s work. After work I went swimming to finish the day off with some exercise. My seat pole has arrived. Planning to install it tomorrow.

After work I headed to a local tavern to meet up with my good friend to catch up and hand back his bicycle helmet from our last trip. I don’t drink anymore so I had a terrible coke and really good chicken strips.
