Had a slow morning. We all jumped into the car and went for a road trip. We missed going to the beach this summer. So we drove to Westport, WA. We just missed Kings Tide that flooded part of the town. We explored the debris that washed up from the ocean. Found some geo caches arround town. For dinner we had fish and chips from Bennett’s Fish Shack. Food was pricy but really delicious. The clam chowder was also amazing.  Drove back home and made it back before 7:30pm.

Slept in and vacuumed arround the house. It’s a cold wet day and didn’t feel like going out. Planning to get the family out of the house tomorrow. We have been coopt up in the house for too long.

Slept in. Wife’s turn to help the kids with school work, cook and clean. Went outside during lunch break and ran arround the front yard with the family playing tag. Made a large Swedish torch for my Friday night fire.

Took it easy. Stayed mostly indoors from the rain and wind. Really feels like Autumn. Cold winds and leaves floating all arround. I was pleasantly surprised that we didn’t loose power today. The gust of winds were intense.

Deep cleaned the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Washed the kids clothes and all the blankets in the house.  The cold weather has me getting the house ready for the holiday season. Tomorrow I will need to clean the oven.

Continued exercising this morning. Going to take a break tomorrow and continue Thursday. Helping the kids clear out their old and seasonal clothes. Going to help them give away toys they don’t play with anymore.

Exercised this morning. Doing better then the day before. My goal is to run a mile in 10 minutes by the end of the month. I’m at 12m 40s right now. Spent time with the kids. Played games and raced RC car with them.

Stayed home picking up arround the house.  Watched the Seahawks loose and ate left over pizza from yesterday’s celebration. Ventured outside for a little bit. Beautiful day but very cold.

Today was announced that Joe Bidden is our next President. I am relieved that he won. Tired of hearing our present president’s constant lies, ad hoc governing, zero empathy or respect for others.  I can go one forever. Just glad he is going away.

Ran arround shopping most of the day. Split some wood afterward. At night I kicked back next to the fire with a glass of brandy.
